Joseph is responsible for investment strategy, client development and other strategic firm initiatives. He joined the firm in 1999 and has over 29 years of experience as a portfolio manager. He has served on SAMT’s Board since 2005 and regularly provides oversight and guidance to the Boards of several companies in various industry sectors. He also works with local educational institutions in designing and enhancing financial literacy programs.

Prior to joining SAMT, Joseph worked as a fixed income trader/portfolio manager at Public Financial Management, a $30 Billion money manager, from 1995 to 1999. He has been a CFA charterholder since 2001 and holds an MS in Finance from the University of Baltimore and a BS in Strategic Business Management/Economics from Towson University.
